Announcing Sales Bean

Sales BeanWe’d like to announce the launch of Salesbean.com, a custom sales statistics tracking system for individual salespeople to track & measure their performance. We were approached earlier this year by Drew Thimme, with the idea for a simple, free and easy to use sales tracking utility that offered a way to not only track the data that an individual enters, but to compare that with others in their industry or region.

SquareOne partnered with Michael Cantrell, one of our strategic partners, to deliver a cohesive product that is easy to use and delivers all of the data tracking needed by individuals in the sales world.

We’re really excited to see Sales Bean grow and are glad to have been part of the process of bringing it to the web. Drew is a great guy, and one of the best clients I’ve ever worked with. We wish him nothing but the greatest of success at Sales Bean.

You can check out the Sales Bean site at salesbean.com – it’s free to join and use.

RFP Form Is Live

Just wanted to point folks to the new RFP form (that replaced the absolutely massive RFP form I was previously using on 1.0 and 2.0) here at SquareOne. I wanted to simplify things, and I plan on doing a lot more cleanup work on it, but a few clients are in the pipeline right now and I’d like to make this available to them. I think the hardest thing was to avoid too much jQuery craziness, but still hide some of the stuff that people don’t really need to see if they don’t have an existing site.

I’ve been busy trying to get everything up and online, and now I plan on adding a coat of polish to the ‘3.1′ release of the site. Stay tuned for a lot of typographic and image changes. I also have some big news about a few projects in the works.

So again, check out the new RFP form! Good day.

Welcome to 3.0

Hey there. Welcome to version 3.0 of SquareOne’s website. I can’t believe this site has only been up a year, and I’m on the 3rd design of it. I feel like this one has more room to grow, so hopefully I’m not making any drastic changes any time soon.

So, after a month or so of trying to come up with a redesign that works as a personal site and a professional one, I think that I’ve come to a good compromise. The result of SquareOneWeb.com version 3.0! I’ll be integrating this site design into my DanielAndrews.com design as well very soon, so worlds will collide.

Anyway, I wanted something with a bit more color than the older design, which was very tan and green and not much else. I hope that this design will stand out a bit more without being overwhelming to visitors, content wise. I’ve gone to great length to revise and remove redundancies from the site, and I’m by no means done. A lot of the services pages are being removed and rewritten, and the client survey is being shortened by about 200%. Once 3.0 is fully live, this site will be a lean, mean web designing marketing machine. I wanted to launch last week, but Wordpress blew up on me a few days ago, so that put me behind schedule. So here we are. Forgive the not-so-hot blog setup.

Hope you like the redesign.
