I wanted to wel­come every­one to the Square­One blog. The plan is to do a few things here that I can’t really do on a per­sonal blog. First of all, I will be talk­ing about the clients that I am work­ing with. Sec­ondly, I’d like to spend a little time talk­ing about the goings-​on in the huge galaxy that is the world wide web. I think if I can bal­ance those two things, we can have a little bit of fun around here, and that’s the idea.

First of all, my name is Daniel. Hi there. I’ve been doing this web design thing for over a decade now in some form or fash­ion — I started out design­ing, moved over to the php world, went to school for Com­puter Sci­ence, then for Graphic Design, and finally for Dig­i­tal Media. I then jumped back into the design world, work­ing for a hand­ful of Atlanta com­pa­nies before decid­ing to start out on my own. And here we are!

If I can suc­ceed in inter­ject­ing some per­son­al­ity into this blog and the site in gen­eral, I will have suc­ceeded. Oh, and if I can drive more traf­fic to my site. That too.
